More about Wardah
This brand is part of the Halal Wellness directory, a free guide to halal and Muslim-friendly health, fitness and lifestyle services. We list businesses that people actively search for, and we check key details such as location, website and halal status. However, details can change. So if you run this brand, please claim this listing to add photos, opening hours, prices and contact details. As a result, more people can find and trust your business.
What makes cosmetics halal?
Halal cosmetics avoid ingredients from pigs and non-halal animals. They also avoid alcohol from forbidden sources. In addition, many Muslim women look for nail polish that lets water reach the nail, because this matters for wudu (ablution).
- Check for a recognised halal certification body on the pack or website.
- Look out for animal-derived ingredients such as carmine, collagen and some glycerin.
- For nail polish, ask whether the brand has tested water permeability, not just the ingredients.
- Vegan and cruelty-free labels help, but they do not replace halal certification.
Why Wardah is in our directory
Halal beauty is one of the fastest-growing areas of the halal market. This brand is one of the brands people search for most. So we have listed what it offers and the halal status we could confirm.
However, formulas change over time. Therefore, always check the current certificate before you buy. Also, patch-test any new skincare product, especially if you have sensitive skin.
